Bigbank prepares to become a universal bank and is hiring an additional IT team for launching payment services

Bigbank that plans to grow into a universal bank in the next couple of years has launched a hiring campaign to significantly increase its team of software specialists who have banking experience to create Bigbank’s next-generation payment services solutions. The Bigbank tech team that already now has a staff of 130 is planning to immediately hire about ten competent and experienced in banking software developers, testers and system analysts. During the year the bank plans to hire about twenty people.

According to Bigbank’s Management Board member responsible for Technology and Product Management, Ken Kanarik, creating a new generation payment service solution is a unique opportunity for top IT professionals to shape the future of banking in Estonia and Europe. "In Estonia, it happens only once in ten or even twenty years that a bank expands into the everyday banking market and is creating a completely new and the most modern payment service solution. By joining our team now, you can shape this future yourself, choose the best options and participate in making the most important decisions. In short, if you are a skilled, motivated and ambitious IT expert, this is a dream job for you," Kanarik said about the challenge. "Our goal is to build the best bank not only in Estonia, but perhaps also in the whole world. After launching payment services, we will move on to the development of software solutions for other everyday banking services," he added.
